Moosehead Lake

The Moosehead Lake offers great opportunities for fishing of landlocked salmon, lake trout, and brook trout. The principal tributary is the Moose River which originates just northwest of Jackman, 10 miles from the border between Maine and Quebec, Canada. Moosehead is the largest lake in Maine, and is situated in the Longfellow Mountains, about 60 miles northwest of Bangor. It is about 35 miles long, and has over 300 miles of beautiful shoreline. The lake is excellent for a variety of fishing techniques including ice fishing, spinning, trolling, and fly fishing.

East Grand Lake

Large population of landlocked salmon, smallmouth bass, lake trout, and brook trout, makes East Grand to one of the best fishing spots in Maine. The lake is about 20 miles long, 4 miles wide, and lies on the boundary between Maine and New Brunswick, Canada. It is the second largest lake in the Chiputneticook Chain of Lakes, second only to Spednic Lake. Rocky reefs, coves and an irregular shoreline are features that make East Grand to an excellent fishing lake. The lake offers great opportunities for trolling, fly fishing, and spin fishing from the shore or from a boat.
